Yesterday I said goodbye to my friends, and took the ferry to Vancouver, this time from departure bay to horseshoe bay. This is a very beautiful tour, except that it was raining the whole trip, so you couldn’t see much. From the ferry I took a very crowded bus to downtown Vancouver. I went to the hotel, and after a while went for a walk through the city. It wasn't very nice because it was raining, but it was still nice to see another part of Vancouver. The first hotel I stayed in, when I first arrived in Vancouver was in Richmond. The hotel I'm in now is in Gastown.

This morning it had stopped raining for a little while and I went to china town, and walked around Gastown. China town was very quiet, but nice to see. In Gastown, there is a steam powered clock which was very interesting to see. In a couple hours I’ll go to Vancouver airport. And from there fly home. I'll arrive around 10 am, dutch time, at schiphol airport.

Gisteren heb ik afscheid genomen van mijn vriendinnen en de veerboot richting Vancouver genomen. Deze ging van Departure bay naar Horseshoe bay. Een erg mooie route, alleen regende het de hele dag dus kon je niet veel zien. Vanaf de veerboot ben ik met een overvolle bus richting downtown Vancouver gegaan. Vanaf daar naar het hotel, en na een tijdje ben ik maar eens door dit deel van vancouver gaan wandelen. De regen maakte dit niet erg leuk, maar het is wel fijn om een ander deel van vancouver te zien. Het eerste hotel waarin ik verbleef in Vancouver, was in Richmond. Dit hotel ligt in Gastown.

Vanochtend was het een tijdje droog en toen ben ik naar china town en door gastown gelopen. China town was erg rustig, maar wel mooi om te zien. In gastown is een klok die aangedreven word door stoom. Heel apart en interessant om dat te zien. Over een paar uur neem ga ik naar het vliegveld. En dan naar huis. Ik land morgen ochtend rond 10 uur, Nederlandse tijd, op Schiphol.
