At 7.15 am this morning i arrived at schiphol airport. First thing: check in my bag. It was quiet a hassle last night to make sure everything would fit in my bag, and an even bigger hassle to make sure it wasn't to heavy. The struggle payed of: exactly 23 kg

. Next thing: passport control, which means waiting in line. And the next thing when flying intercontinental: security check, which again means waiting. And after that you can wait again till they let you board the plain. But what is another 30 minutes waiting if you have to fly for 9 hours?? Atleast it gives me time to write this story.

So now I'm really on my way for my big adventures in the US en Canada.

Om 7.15 vanochtend kwam ik aan op schiphol. Eerst mijn koffer inchecken. Gelukkig precies 23 kg

, was nog best een gevecht om te zorgen dat hij niet te zwaar was. En daarna de paspoort controle, dus wachten. Eenmaal bij de gate de security check: weer wachten. En daarna, weer wachten tot je aan boord mag. Maar ach, wat is nou nog een half uurtje wachten als je 9 uur moet vliegen. En het geeft me de tijd om deze blog te schrijven.

Dus nu is mijn grote avontuur officieel begonnen.

Ben je over ijsschotsen gevlogen? Dat lijkt zo op de foto's.

Ja, Tussen Groenland en Canada was het bijna allemaal ijs.
